Savvy Boater of the Month: Dave Rusk and His New Pontoon Boat Ladder

August 13th, 2012 | Posted by denise in Savvy Boater of the Quarter

Pontoon boat owner Dave Rusk sent us pictures of his new  pontoon ladder installed on his Royal Heritage tri toon last month. He was looking for a ladder that would require minimal storage space and provide an easy way to get back on the boat. Dave found that combination with the Crone “A Step Up” Ladder, our most popular pontoon ladder. This four-step ladder mounts and stores underneath the deck for convenient access both in and out of the water.

Check it out on Dave’s boat:

What does Dave have to say about his new ladder?

It was easy to install and I am impressed with how strong and stable it is when in use. I thought it might feel a little “weak” with the only support occurring at the very top but I was pleasantly surprised. The ladder is also long enough to allow easy access from the front of our boat which sits close to 21”-22” out of the water. I should have taken a picture with the ladder extended as well. I would highly recommend this product. ”
